How results are chosen

1. Every word shown is the published translation. Nothing is paraphrased, summarised or edited. The translation used for each text is named on every column and in the footer.
2. Verified topics (the 195 in the topic list) use passages chosen by hand, and each reference was checked against the text before it was added.
3. Word matches are passages containing the words you searched for.
4. Meaning matches are found by a small AI model running in your browser. It compares the meaning of your search with each passage and only shows close matches. It never writes anything.
5. AI references (marked “AI ref”) come from a larger AI that is only allowed to name references, under the same rules for every text: only passages it is certain exist, chosen by what the passage itself says, including passages that permit, forbid or qualify, with no commentary. The app then shows the real text at each reference and discards any reference that doesn't exist.
6. The same rules apply to every tradition. No text is ranked above another, and the app never says which is right.
